User Needs Analysis
Black Pearl Computing Ltd. has been providing advice and user needs analyses to individuals, corporations, governments, and educational organizations since our inception in 1987. Advice has ranged from pre-purchase research to methods for improving metwork security and performance. Some examples of Needs Assessments include:
- Computer LAN evaluation and design; an assessment of existing computer resources; and recommendations for the purchase of new equipment and resources, for Mount Douglas Senior Secondary;
- Detailed needs assessments, recommendations, and LAN/WAN designs for five of the nine Regional Correspondence Schools in B.C. (Fraser Valley, Greater Vancouver, North Coast, South Island, North Island);
- A technology assessment providing LAN/WAN systems design (Macintosh, PC, and RS/6000), and e-mail system recommendations for the Administration and Maintenance offices, and the District Resource Centre, of School District No. 65 (Duncan);
- Computer LAN evaluation and design for Lambrick Park Secondary;
- A LAN needs assessment for the BC Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC);
